Welcome to Naciwasco Staff Welfare Association (NSWA)

Naciwasco Staff Welfare Association formerly Thika Dam Staff Welfare Association is a membership organization duly registered under the Societies Act, Cap 108 of the Laws of Kenya. The Association is; voluntary, non-political, and positively non-aligned. The Association has a potential membership capacity of 2,740 drawn from Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited.

Environmental conservation is at the heart of Naciwasco Staff Welfare Association. We are passionate about tree planting in order to protect the water catchment towers that are the lifeline of Sasumua Dam, Ndakaini Dam, and Ruiru Dam. The Association plans to plant one (1) million trees by 2015. To achieve this monumental task, we will rely heavily on volunteers who prepare the ground, plant trees and tender the trees during weekends and holidays. The volunteers are drawn from among our membership. The volunteers work valued contribution is reinforced by our partners; Kenya Climate Justice Women Champions, Laptrust , Rotaract Club Milimani and Rotary Club Milimani among others.

is concerned with the professional development of the functional and leadership skills of our members through workshops, seminars and training sessions. Every year in October we plan team building field trips to Masai Mara for our members.

We offer emergency financial assistance of between KES. 10,000 - 50,000by providing soft loans to our members to cater for; production, school fees,personal use,home development, medical expenses and bereavement.
